Bellflower Shooting Leaves Man Hospitalized
Early Monday morning a man was hospitalized after an early morning shooting near a Bellflower apartment complex. The Bellflower Firefighters were called to a gunshot wound victim in the 1600 block of Woodruff Avenue, according to officials in charge of the scene. A witness to the ordeal told reporters that a man driving a Dodge sedan was pulling out of the side of the El Morocco apartment complex on his way to work. The witness then explained that the victim was shot outside of his car in front of his wife and young daughter. The victim was breathing when the paramedics arrived at the scene and was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital. The victim is currently in the hospital in critical condition and will hopefully make a full recovery. His wife and daughter are at the hospital with the victim and will remain there the entire night. Police are still looking for the suspect in the sedan and are asking for the public’s help with any information that could help bring this man to justice.
